What VisualReady collects—and why.
Effective September 7, 2026
Contact details updated September 12, 2026. VisualReady is the service offered at GetVisualReady.com.
Product measurement details updated September 16, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how VisualReady handles information when you browse the site, create an account, generate a visual, save or share content, submit feedback, or purchase a Beta plan.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, display name, authentication provider, account status, policy-acceptance version and time.
- Builder content: prompts, teaching targets, selected settings, exclusion requests, and generated visuals.
- Uploads: reference photos and resources you choose to submit.
- Product activity: Visual Credit balance and usage, generation settings and cost records, saved-visual history, display-device pairings, downloads, feedback, survey responses, invitation redemptions, and resource submissions.
- Billing information: subscription and payment status, Stripe customer identifiers, and transaction events. VisualReady does not store full payment-card numbers.
- Technical information: information normally sent by a browser, such as IP address, device and browser details, security events, and local-storage identifiers.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; provide generation, download, saving, Cloud Library, Resource Library, display, research, and billing features; track Credits; protect the service; prevent fraud or abuse; respond to feedback; improve teaching usefulness; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Generated visuals and storage choices
Visitor and Free-account visuals are saved locally in the browser unless you download them. Clearing browser data or changing devices may remove local visuals. Eligible paid accounts can save visuals to Cloud Library for cross-device access. Cloud Library items remain associated with the account until deleted or until retention is required for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
For each generation, we retain the teaching mode, the submitted request wording, additional requirements, exclusions, edit instructions, selected settings, the initial instruction prepared for the image provider, concept category, image style, single/comparison format, generation method, and outcome alongside your account and visual reference. The owner can read these submitted requests and review word/target frequency in the private usage dashboard to provide support, understand product use, and connect your image ratings to the relevant teaching task. We record requests when generation is submitted, not your keystrokes or unfinished drafts. Uploaded image bytes are not copied into this text audit. Extremely long fields may be shortened and marked as such. Request records are retained as needed for support and product improvement; you can request their deletion using the contact details below. It does not automatically upload locally saved images to Cloud Library.
4. Reference photos and sensitive information
A reference photo is sent to the image-generation provider only when you request a generation and confirm that you have permission to use it. VisualReady does not include the reference photo itself in saved visual metadata. Do not upload protected health information, learner records, medical records, or an identifiable person’s image without all required permission and authorization.
5. Service providers
VisualReady uses service providers to operate the product. Firebase handles email/password and Google authentication; Stripe processes subscription checkout and billing; OpenAI processes prompts and image inputs to generate visuals; and the hosting and storage platform delivers the site and stores account, generation, and Cloud Library data. Each provider may process technical and service data under its own terms and privacy commitments.
OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the customer opts in, and that image-generation inputs may be retained in abuse-monitoring logs under the customer’s configured data controls. Firebase Authentication processes account and security data needed to authenticate users.
6. Local storage and cookies
VisualReady uses browser storage to keep Builder drafts, local saved visuals, display-device information, authentication state, and other settings needed for the requested experience. Authentication and payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies for security and session management.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand visits, page use, referral sources, and general browser/device information. Analytics cookies identify a browser rather than a named account. We do not send your account name, email address, teaching prompts, images, or written feedback to Google Analytics. We exclude admin and teaching-display pages, and remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send. Advertising personalization is disabled. Declining analytics does not affect access to the service.
With the same optional analytics permission, we also measure page visits and approximate active time in our own database. Active time counts foreground use with recent interaction, not continuous time spent with a tab left open. Signed-in visits may be associated with your account; anonymous visits use a temporary browser-tab session identifier. The owner can view these records. We do not record keystroke content, session replays, query strings, or learner details for page measurement. This first-party measurement starts only after you allow it.
You can change your analytics choice below. Turning analytics off reloads this page to stop the previously loaded tag; it does not delete data already collected.
7. When information is shared
Information is shared with service providers only as needed to operate VisualReady, with other users when you intentionally submit an approved community resource or use a sharing feature, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, rights, and service security. VisualReady does not sell personal information.
8. Retention and deletion
Account, consent, Credit, billing, feedback, and security records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service and maintain accurate business records. Locally saved visuals remain in the browser until you or the browser removes them. Cloud visuals remain until you delete them or close the applicable account, subject to limited backup, security, dispute, and legal retention. Third-party providers may follow their own documented retention periods.
9. Security
VisualReady uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted network connections and authenticated access controls. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Keep credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access to getvisualready@gmail.com.
10. Children and learner information
VisualReady accounts are for adults and are not directed to children under 13. The service should be operated by a clinician, educator, caregiver, or other authorized adult. Do not enter a child’s name, protected health information, confidential education record, or other unnecessary identifying information.
11. Your choices
You can download or delete saved visuals, decline optional interview contact, unsubscribe or cancel a paid plan, and sign out at any time. You may request help accessing, correcting, or deleting account information by emailing getvisualready@gmail.com. Some records may be retained where required for billing, fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance.
12. Changes to this policy
VisualReady may update this policy as the Beta develops. The effective date will change when the policy changes. If an update materially affects account use, VisualReady may require you to review and accept the new version before continuing.
13. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, email getvisualready@gmail.com. You do not need to sign in to contact us. Please do not include learner names, PHI, or confidential records in your message.
